In December 2019, a novel virus causing flu-like symptoms emerged in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. Within three months, the World Health Organization declared the spread of the coronavirus-19 (COVID-19) to be a global pandemic.1 Since then, COVID-19 has drastically changed the world in which we live.
